National

On a national level, The Danish Chemical Society has the following key activities: 
 

  • Organizes lectures, discussion meetings and courses for its members. See frontpage for latest news.

  • Conveys nomenclature to specialists and laymen through its Committee for Nomenclature.

  • Contributes to the journal Dansk Kemi, for example through appointed members of the editorial board.

  • Supports chemistry-related activities of individuals and groups through grants.

  • Presents Ellen og Niels Bjerrums Kemikerpris at its Summer meeting and appoints two representatives to the prize committee.

  • Appoint a member to the board of Kaj Linderstrøm-Langs Guldmedaillefond.​​​

Dansk Kemi

  • The Danish Chemical Society collaborates with Dansk Kemi on the communication of chemical research, professional and scientific activities, and other matters of relevance to the Danish chemistry community. The collaboration, including its financial and practical terms, is governed by a separate agreement between the relevant parties. The agreement may be renegotiated and renewed as appropriate.
